By registering to this event you agree to the following terms and conditions
PAYMENTS & TAX INVOICE
Payment is required prior to the event.
You may pay by Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) or by direct deposit. Payment instructions will be included with your tax invoice.
- Credit Card payments are processed via our secure gateway.
- Your credit card statement will show a debit for this registration to "Auaha Events"
- After you Submit your registration you will be emailed a Registration Confirmation and Tax Invoice.
- All amounts are quoted and charged in NZ Dollars.
If paying on invoice by direct deposit, payment is required within 7 days of registering.
Registrations may not be shared.
CANCELLATION & REFUND TERMS
Cancellation of registration must be made in writing to the Conference Managers.
No refunds will be made for cancellations. If payment has not been made at the time of cancellation the registration fee will remain payable.
Written requests must be sent to Auaha Events, governance@auaha.co.nz. Reference ‘National Maori Governance Summit’ in all correspondence.
Access. Your registration entitles you to access the Event for which you have registered. Any and all other costs associated with your attendance shall be borne solely by you, and the Organisers shall have no liability for such costs.
Limitations on Use. By registering for the Event you agree not to sell, trade, transfer, or share your access link and/or code to the online platform, unless such transfer is granted by the Organiser.
Disruptive Conduct. You acknowledge and agree that the Organisers reserves the right to remove you from the Event if the Organisers, in their sole discretion, determine that your participation or behaviour create a disruption or hinder the Event or the enjoyment of the Event content by other attendees.
Recording, Live Streaming, and Videotaping. Participants may not record or broadcast audio or video of sessions at the Event.
Videoconference: If you participate in any sessions by videoconference (Zoom meetings), you will not display any background that includes any copyrighted image or logo that you do not own. If you own an image or logo that you display as part of a background, you hereby grant the Organisers a royalty-free and irrevocable license to use said image and/or logo captured as part of the event and is included within the image release.
Image Release
In registering for this Event, delegates grant permission to the Organisers, its agents and others working under its authority, to take and to have full and free use of video/photographs containing their image/likeness. It is understood these images may be used for promotional, news, on-line/multimedia, research and/or educational purposes by and for the conference. Delegates agree that they are not entitled to remuneration, residuals, royalties or any other payment from the Organisers in respect of their image/likeness or its use. Delegates release, discharge, and hold harmless, the Organisers and its agents from any and all claims, demands or causes of actions that they may hereafter have by reason of anything contained in the photographs or video. Should a delegate not agree to the above image release, they must advise Auaha by email – governance@auaha.co.nz
List of participants
In registering for this conference, relevant details may be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates (name, organisation and city).
Further details may be available to parties directly related to the conference including the Organisers, designers, printers, venues and accommodation providers (for the purpose of special catering and physical requirements, name tag creation and conference options).
Disclaimer
Neither the Organising Committee of the National Maori Governance Summit and its constituent members acting as organisers (known collectively as ‘the Organisers’), nor Te Putea Whakatupu or Auaha Ltd, can accept any liability for death, injury, any loss, cost or expense suffered by any person (including accompanying persons or partners or attendant caregivers), if such loss is caused or results from the act, default or omission of any person other than an employee or agent of the organisers or Auaha Ltd. In particular, neither the Organisers nor Auaha Ltd can accept any liability for losses arising from the provision or non-provision of services provided by hotel companies or transport operators. Nor can the Organisers or Auaha accept liability for losses suffered by reason of war including threat of war, riots and civil strife, terrorist activity, natural disasters, weather, fire, flood, drought, technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown within any premises visited by delegates and/ or partners in connection with the National Maori Governance Summit, nor losses suffered by reason of industrial disputes, governmental action, registrations or technical problems which may affect the services provided in connection with the National Maori Governance Summit.
Neither the Organisers nor Auaha Ltd is able to give any warranty that any published speaker or performer will appear as a speaker, panelist or performer. The organisers reserve the right to alter or amend the programme and its contents as they see fit and as circumstances dictate without further recourse to any registered delegate or attendee.
Only registered delegates will be admitted to the National Maori Governance Summit sessions. Delegate fees do not include accommodation charges. Registration reservations are unconfirmed until payment is received. The liability of the Organisers and Auaha Ltd shall be limited to that refund and neither shall be liable for any other loss, cost or expense, however caused, incurred or arising. In particular, neither the Organisers nor Auaha Ltd shall be liable to refund any travel or hotel costs incurred by delegates or their organisations. Delegates and accompanying partners are advised to take out comprehensive insurance, including travel insurance.
