Meg Williams is the voluntary Chair of Toi o Taraika Arts Wellington - a membership organisation representing over 70 artists, independent practitioners and cultural organisations in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. It has a focus on advocacy, connecting and supporting members.

Meg’s day job is as CEO of World of Wearable Art, an annual live theatrical spectacle that showcases extraordinary works of wearable art from the world’s best designers.

Prior to that, Meg was the Executive Director of Tāwhiri Festivals and Experiences which runs the biennial Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts, annual Wellington Jazz Festival, Te Hui Ahurei Reo Māori on behalf of mana whenua, Lexus Song Quest singing competition, Tāwhiri Workshop (a staging and construction workshop) and Tāwhiri Warehouse - a new creation, development and pop-up performance space in Newtown.
