Kat Dawnier is a researcher, evaluator and strategist working across the philanthropic and community sectors. She provides specialist advice to support the development of strategy, and to design and evaluate initiatives and philanthropic investment approaches. Kat also walks alongside community organisations to provide capability development and to understand impact through learning-based practice. She has extensive experience supporting the work of community trusts and family foundations across Aotearoa; as well as NGOs in the refugee/migrant, youth and arts and culture sectors. Kat is an Associate of the Centre for Social Impact and a network member of Te Taumata Toi-a-Iwi, the regional arts trust for Tāmaki Makaurau.
