Lani Evans is an experienced for-purpose founder, leader and director focused on equity, philanthropy and impact-led innovation. Lani is the inaugural Programme Director of the Aotearoa Foundation, a family philanthropic, and the co-lead and co-founder of The Share Collective, a non-profit holding shares and distributing dividends for good. She was the Head of Te Rourou, One Aotearoa Foundation (formerly Vodafone) from 2016 - 2023.

Lani currently sits on the boards of: Generous Ventures, the charitable arm of Thankyou Payroll, and AHU, a community development organisation in Pukerua Bay. She is a past recipient of the Winston Churchill Fellowship (participatory philanthropy), is an Edmund Hillary Fellow, an honorary member of Philanthropy New Zealand and in 2019 was awarded a New Year’s Honour for services to social enterprise.
