Geoff Reid is a change agent and restoration consultant with a focus on urgent action related to climate, biodiversity collapse, forest restoration, human health, animal welfare, and the loss of resilience.

Geoff has over a decade of experience working on and spearheading campaigns that have mobilised public opinion, influenced policy and placed pressure on the private and public sector to respect our environment.
Examples include a campaign to lobby Greater Wellington Regional Council to get on with predator control for the Akatarawa Giant Rata Forest, stalling a government-funded project to build a marina and dredge sea bed in the Bay of Islands, being instrumental in getting a 20,00ha 1080 drop for Waipoua Forest over the line and a key instigator in raising public awareness of the effects of bad practice agriculture such as Mud Farming, to stop the permanent damage to our pristine rivers, harmful animal suffering and sediment runoff across the country.

Geoff is currently focused on advocating for proper commitment towards the eradication and control of invasive weeds to protect our remnant forest ecosystems as well as creating an app to be used as a tool to expose pollution and drive accountability.
