Claire, a New Zealander, is a Director for GoodWolf Partners, a specialist advisory group guiding organisations and foundations to invest in a stronger, fairer and more sustainable civil society.
Claire returned to Australia in early 2021 after 5 years in the UK as CEO and Director of Pure Leapfrog and Leapfrog Finance. Pure Leapfrog supported communities who were disadvantaged to access and benefit from carbon and energy transitions. Leapfrog Finance provided £50m+ to UK communities to secure renewable energy assets which would generate more than £15m of local social impact funds.
Prior to going to England, Claire was CEO and Managing Director of the Great Barrier Reef Foundation from 2011 to 2016, having commenced as the Foundation’s General Manager in 2007.
Before joining the Foundation, she spent eight years with Rio Tinto in global strategy and process improvement roles and started her career with BP, in New Zealand, Australia, the UK and Europe.
