Alastair Rhodes was appointed Chief Executive of Bay Trust in 2015. Since his appointment Alastair has helped Bay Trust to take a leadership position in having a positive impact with its $250m of investments and Bay Trust has committed to allocating at least 10% of its investment base to impact investments. As well as this commitment Bay Trust is also targeting that by 2030 or earlier it will have a truly sustainable investment portfolio that is consistent with a low carbon, heathy, safe and prosperous world whilst continuing to drive above class leading investment returns.

Prior to his appointment, Alastair has held senior executive roles in the aviation and consulting industries. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Lawyer and has a legal, commercial, and strategic background. Alastair has a passion for ensuring that investments have a positive impact not only because this is the best way to invest for our people and our planet but also on the basis that it provides superior long term financial performance.
