Tim Loftus is an international leader in business strategy and innovation, and the founder of Ōtautahi based sustainability consultancy Better Outside.

Tim’s business career has focused on designing and implementing global best-practice sustainability programs for some of the world's largest outdoor brands, including NZ based Icebreaker and Kathmandu. Leading corporate sustainability initiatives in USA, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, Tim has a unique perspective on the critical role of business in driving social change and ecological restoration.

Tim is the Industry Lead for Sustainability at the University of Canterbury Business School. He holds a Business degree from University of North Carolina, an MBA from Queens University and an MBA from University of Otago.

Tim lives in Moncks Bay with an incredible wife and two adventurous daughters.
