Lucy is an experienced sustainability and philanthropy practitioner with over 15 years of experience working in Europe and Australasia. She was most recently living in Melbourne, Australia, where she was responsible for the National Australia Bank’s philanthropic portfolio including NAB’s $100m charitable trust, employee volunteering giving programmes for 30,000 employees, community partnerships, and the bank’s heritage and archives function.
Lucy holds a BA (Hons) from University of Canterbury and continued her learning with the Australian Graduate School of Management at UNSW Business School and Australian Institute of Company Directors, focusing on not-for-profit governance and social impact. She has also held several voluntary directorship roles in the not-for-profit sector in arts, leadership development, and human rights.
Lucy returned to Aotearoa in 2022 and leads BNZ Foundation’s work day-to-day. She lives in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland with her husband and two young children. Lucy has a deep passion for the environment and sustainable development, and outside of work, she can typically be found exploring the great kiwi outdoors with her active family.
