Tapatahi – Deaf and hard-of-hearing, hearing, disabled and non-disabled working together to make collective change
We long to live respectfully with one another. We long to embrace relationships that are meaningful. How can Deaf and hard-of-hearing, hearing, disabled and non-disabled people work together to enhance opportunities for Deaf and hard-of-hearing and disabled communities? What can hearing and non-disabled people learn from tāngata whaikaha, tāngata turi, Deaf and hard-of-hearing, and disabled people to explore new ways of arts leadership, practice and engagement?
Join Rāhera Turner (NZSL Consultant and Company Manager, Equal Voices Arts) and Stace Robertson (Access, Inclusion and Participation Advisor, Arts Access Aotearoa), in conversation with Rodney Bell (Artistic Direction Panel, Touch Compass) as they explore these questions to challenge our understanding of Deaf and hard-of-hearing and disability culture and work together to make collective change.
