Rodney Bell, Ngāti Maniapoto is a dancer and performing Artist who leans differently in the Wind and always acknowledging his ancestoral elders in all he does.

Rodney Bell is from Te Kuuititanga in which he treasures and acknowledges his anscestoral Elders in all intentive motives in his life. As a performing Artist Rodney has enhanced each opportunity presented to tour the World and work with many renowned Dance Companies and extroadinary Artist which has bought many accolades into his life.

His career has been nurtured by many caring and trusting People and Organisations - his Whaanau, Touch Compass, Movement of the Human, Creative New Zealand, Catherine Chappell, Malia Johnston, Romola Lang, Lusi Faiva, Suzanne Cowan, Chloe Loftus, just to name a few and always.

Acquiring a Disability 32 years ago - paraplegia with no feeling and control from below the chest, Rodney Bell has discovered a new depth of Intimacy, Communion, and Peace with the Tangata Haua/Tangata Whai Kaha (Disabled community) that cloaks him and is always acting upon and reimagining a better World for us all to flourish equally.
