Te Ora o te Whānau hui will take place in Kirikiriroa on November 21 & 22, 2022. This national hui is an iwi-led hui under Pou Tangata, National Iwi Chairs Forum in partnership with Te Puni Kokiri.

There will be two key outcomes – Ministerial recommendations and a NICF national action plan to achieve Te Ora o te Whānau. This national hui has been informed by our Pou Tangata Engagement insights roadshow, where we listened to our whānau and communities. Emerging from the roadshow our three key pou are:

  • Mana Orite – Achieving te ora o te whānau through Mana Orite; Shared decision making
  • Hononga – Partnerships enabling te ora o te whānau
  • Oranga – Iwi led initiatives to achieve te ora o te whānau

Registration is by invitation only.

Registration for the virtual event will close at 5pm on Sunday, 20 November 2022.
