We’re back! After a whakatā (break) we are pleased to announce Creative New Zealand’s arts leadership conference Nui te Kōrero is back with a kanohi-ki-te-kanohi hui to be held in Taranaki, Ngāmotu-New Plymouth at the end of September 2023. This year we're delighted to announce Te Kotahitanga o Te Atiawa as our hosting partner.

The theme for 2023 is Brave New World – A new level and a new way of thinking, He reanga hou, he whakaaro hou. We are looking forward to collectively finding the courage to do things differently outside our traditional models of arts leadership, practice and engagement. As we respond to our changing environment, what world do we want to create? What are the conditions for success that need to change? And how will we achieve transformational change together?

The theme will be explored through a combination of keynotes, panels and breakout sessions which will focus on Collective transformation, Honouring te Tiriti o Waitangi and Tuakana-Teina.
